PROPOSAL INDIVIDUAL INSTALLATION ART (TASK 5)

1.0       Introduction              
            Nicolas. 2005, said. Installation art can be either temporary or permanent. The installation art constructed in spaces as museum and galleries, as well public spaces.  
            Things that visualize back or act back the event or incidence that was happen known of re-enact. Re-enact sketch the outline on the floor using the chalk and masking tape to sketch and follow the outline body. (Henry C. Lee. 2001).
            The assignment is part of student’s life. The feeling of student when they doing their assignment. How I feel if I have the assignment is my project for installation art. The feel is part of emotion. Sometimes when student set the assignment they will feel diligent and lazy to do. For my opinion have many type of emotion when the student get the assignment like diligent and lazy. For diligent, students sometimes they like to do the assignment, they have mood to do some work, sometimes they made the assignment as a hobby for them, have the supporter from friend, family, lecturer and special one boost their mood to do assignment. True From my observation why student lazy, maybe because student have the personal problem, they cannot separate the personal problem with study. Students don’t have the money, don’t have the spirit, like delay the work and maybe they think this work is not important, don’t have the mood, tired and stressed. From that I use the paddy for represent the artwork assignment for installation art. The metaphor is durability, strong and means much to myself. From that the metaphor represents myself it is because paddy the more outcome or seeds the paddies have, the more it bends lower. Me as a human being, the more knowledge I have the humble I should.


1.1       Problem Statement
            Have 2 types of student when they get the assignment, student will feel diligent and lazy, why student diligent, diligent student often get what they want because they work hard. Diligent person like to busy themselves then they smile and get started. Lazy, why student lazy, because sometimes student feel and think of don’t want to do, sometimes students have the personal problem, they pressured and they forget, if they forget to do the assignment then they remember again the assignment then they will be lazy.



1.2       Objective
                        In the objective, have 3 types of objective first, research and understand the meaning of installation art, re-enact and emotion. Reading based on the books and web.
                        Second objective is analysed the re-enact, emotion, installation art, from my research and understanding.
                        Third objective is applied the emotion and re-enact in my installation art. My installation art make the outline and do the line for differentiated diligent and lazy then put the paddy in the outline two colour white and black, white for diligent and black for lazy.


1.3       Idea Development
            At the first,  get the idea for assignment installation art, from watching the movie about the investigators, like CSI Miami and blue blood, if have the murder victim, investigators will sketch the outline and follow the position of murder victim.
             Do the research from idea about the crime scene, sketch outline and use chalk and masking tape and follow the position.
Third sketch the outline body on paper, material to sketch outline using pen.

Sketch the outline like my body and on the floor and make the position body. diligent and lazy, and make from the research about the crime scene body sketch. Sketch on the floor is simple but unique and easy put the material.

Sketch the outline on the floor like this position. The position show by right hand is the hardworking and diligent, the left hand show the lazy.

1.4       Methodology
Process to do the project,
1.4.1    Interview
The interview focus on personal problem, diligent and lazy to the assignment and interview shows the result of people diligent and lazy. From the interview, make the video and ask student what they feel if have the assignment. Found the per cent of diligent and lazy, Diligent is 55 % and lazy is 45%.
1.4.2    Research and Take Photo
Take the photo and research about the crime scene body sketch, using the chalk and masking tape to make the outline, why they use the chalk and masking tape because can follow the outline body and easy to sketch the position body:

1.5       Experiment
            In the experiment have 2 steps. First do the outline like body and put the glue and paddy in the outline. Spray the paddy different colour black and white. Experiment the paddy durable and strong when applied. Second steps, colour the paddy use poster colour.

1.5       Installation process/ Outcomes
            In my installation art I have 9 processes. I do the process in 3 weeks. I use technique re-enact.

1.6       Conclusion
            In the conclusion, installation are gives me a lot of inspiration, innovation and creativity. I learn many things from the installation from start until beginning I do this experiment, and I get more knowledge from the installation start from subject matter to outcomes result. All the technique in installation I try using to experiment in my installation. Furthermore, Installations also give a chance to explore what I want to do and what I like. About my presentation, first presentation I need more picture about the diligent and lazy as the example of my research, second presentation, I need to make the colorful of paddy because for show the people have numerous manners. Installation art make me improve the knowledge about how to arrange the work and make the people think about what I do in installation art and for objective its success from the research, analysis and applied for installation art.
